New listings and UROKO patterns and Tanka , Waka
I listed some items , like Goshuin-notebook and cover and again some toothpicks.
This successive triangles pattern is called "UROKO" in Japan, meaning "scales".
This pattern is symbol of "protection".
You can see the Japanese Kanji and Hiragana letters on back side.
They says "頃は", means "when" " the time for " . This seems to be a line of a Waka, Japanese old Tanka poetry.
For an example, there is one Waka of Hyakunin-ishu, Hundred Poet Hundred Poem
夜もすがら もの思ふ頃は 明けやらで
ねやのひまさへ つれなかりけり
Yomosugara Monoomou"korowa" Akeyarade
Neyanohimasae Tsurenakarikeri
-Shunkei Osho
(Natsu Translation) All night long, a night you think about someone , the dawn comes slowly
that is why I feel that thin openings of the door even mean to me.
