Keigo Higashino , A Death In Tokyo

 A week ago I bought a book of kindle, it was only 180-yen on sale.
Finished, in a pretty good speed.

This mystery start with a scene of a man died on the Nihobashi bridge, where the 0 kilometer point of Japan since Edo to the current road trip. The most famous and oldest road of Toukaido starts from Nihonbashi and to Kyoto.
(And my dad walked Toukaido soon after his retired , at his late 60th.)

The incident of a murdered man on the Nihobashi bridge looked a simple case at first sight. But a detective felt something wrong with the simple theory. A murdered man and his son, Kaga and his passed father, and a "culprit" man and his girlfriend (who is expected a baby). This is also a story of father and his son.

There is a symbol in this story - Kirin, a imaginary mythic animal , of which statue on Nihonbashi.

We can see it on the beer bottles (of Kirin Beer).
